Home Insulation, founded in 1948, was one of the first Insulation contracting companies started in the state of Oregon. Family owned and operated, the business began as Home Insulation Co./Johnson Fuel in 1948. When the coal business diminished and Johnson closed, Phil Heidt, one of the original partners, became the sole owner of Home Insulation Co. and continued the insulation operation.

The company's strong history of providing outstanding customer service throughout the years has aided in it's growth. From the original office in Eugene, Home Insulation now has branches in Medford (1956), Albany-Corvallis (1969), Roseburg (1972), Pendleton (1978), Florence (1980) and Sheridan (1997).

Being locally owned as it's advantages. Two of Phil's sons, Jerry and Dan, now run the Eugene operation. When you call you talk directly to the owners so decisions are made fast and questions and concerns are answered promptly. The owners and employees work and live in the community supporting the overall growth in the area.

Home Insulation specializes in insulation. It is their only business, not a sideline. Unlike other companies who employ subcontractors to install their insulation, all of Home Insulation's installers are company employees, committed to the success of the business as it's success is tied directly to their future growth. As such, the installers are dedicated professionals committed to doing the job right the first time. Home Insulation is licensed with the State of Oregon (CCB #84), bonded, insured, and all its employees are fully covered by workman's compensation insurance. They do business the right way!
